Don't miss this crew that went against the Hvar mainstream, and serve freshly caught fish, as well as natural wines. There are few conventional, though local! Good to explore. Octopus is ther signature dish, but the menu changes according to the daily catch!

Who is the fisherman? Pierino - the oldest of three brothers, the one that decided to break walls of his own house and build a restaurant in the unknown street of Hvar. Crazy or brilliant, I'll let you decide. 😎

Good fisherman needs a trustworthy man who will keep him safe while diving the deep blue Adriatic sea, and here comes Marin. The one that's both the artist, the business and the waiter. You don't have enough time? Think twice.

Missing the smiles? The smiles and charms goes to the third brother - Dean, the one that knows the local anecdotes as well as deboning that wild fish on your plate!

Without the fairy that knows her wines, and will give you the best recommendations is their sister from another mister - Irja, the good neighbor who joined the fam at the very start. Everybody needs the one that 👀 you before what you do is already a success 🧚‍♂️.

Don't miss it when in Hvar, just don't.

Uhvatio tata Momo, spinnanjem uz obalu. Poslao isti dan u Zagreb, gdje je dočekana u postelju od povrća i pospremljena u špaher pa na pijat i evo danas na instagram. Med i mlijeko!!!

Karakterre festival in a carousel. Not possible. But, here are some moments that my thumbs picked out from the massive gallery of memories 👀

Thanks to @markokovac and @nikodukan we all have a place to connect, reconnect and rewind.

There is great inspiration I find in their persistence, especially when you imagine they started with the first Karakterre in Zagreb 11 years ago!

Today, they host people from all around the world, either in Eisenstadt, Vienna or Manhattan, New York!People are travelling from different continents to visit KARAKTERRE, businesswise but also to meet up with the folks who they share their passions with, to visit and meet the winemakers who are making this event so special and to celebrate this lifestyle of natural, non-conventional farming and winemaking #everythingisconnected

The sad-ish and shocking information though, is that there were like 10 people from Croatia visiting Vienna this year 🥲. Fuck, we are slow... but cute I guess...............? 🐻💤

Anyway, thank you @wearekarakterre 🧡🤌🏼 see you next year!

Some days, some people, some places are just enough to care about what you do in life at this moment in this time!

I love sharing new information to people, the naturalness, simplicity and authenticity but also complexity.

Hardwork, devotion and passion for this lifestyle of being a farmer, a vinegrower, and eventually a storyteller through wine as your medium, inspires me greatly.

I am happy, firstly to represent some really cool people out there, loving and taking care of our planet, but also to share my experiences and knowledge with those who are open to hearing and understanding.

Oh and hey! I ate so freaking good for the last two days!! I'm more than happy to work with this team @biomaniahr 💚
and beyond excited they are right here, at one of my favourite places in the world - Bol, on island Brač 🏝.

Goosebumps, weird vibe, and doubling of how much you cherish your life but also how small it is under the powerful forces of Mother N.

• Pompei were known as an ancient city situated along the shores of the Naples Bay at the distance of less than 10 km from the (still) active volcano - Mount Vesuvius

• The city was huge attraction for the wealthy Romans in the 1st century AD for its many artworks, wines, brothels (lots of dic* pics on the walls), luxury villas etc.

• At the time vine cultivation was part of every household as hidden little private gardens connected to their homes

• They were known as agricultural hub, for their fertile and well drained volcanic soil

• In 79 AD Vesuvius erupted covering city with the layers of pomice (mix of volcanic materials), gas and ash that suffocated 2000 / 20000 people who hadn't have anywhere to escape even though they knew the eruption was going to happen

• None of the lava made it to Pompeii so everything buried then, stayed preserved today as 2,000 years ago - from human bodies, art, wine vessels to bread.

• They were importing wines whose location was possible to detect from the shapes and material of amhoraes that varied from place to place. Also, it was common to mark geographic origin of the wine, the producer and the vintage.

• Winemaking has been returned to Pompeii, as they say - 'recreating the viticulture of the ancient Romans' - though, they grafted vines, regarding these sandy and volcanic soils, they grow them organically but are producing wine by modern vinification, inoculating the selected yeast etc... doesn't sound too authentic?

• Common grape varieties: Greco, Fiano, Aglianico, Piedirosso, Sciascinoso, Coda di Bolpe, Caprettona

Vino koje se opisuje je Jantar vinarije Basha, Bojana Baše, berbe 2017.

Toliko slojevito, kompleksno i divno da su oči bivale zaklopljene uz puno smijeha, intrige i poštovanja, a priča je slatko tekla... @bashavino 🙈

Radi se maceriranom Pinotu sivom sa Fruške gore. Specifičan i nekarakterističan, obilježen vrućim vjetrovima sa Sahare nekoliko dana prije berbe uz prilično suh ostatak godine.

Lozin odgovor na ove ekstremne uvjete bio je povlačenje tekućine iz boba pa je uz 15% smanjen prinos, rezultat vino višeg ekstrakta, alkohola i taninske strukture!

Prepuno toplih začina, cimeta, klinčića, aroma kože, smole, kestena i karamele, duhana, rogača, medicinalne herbalnosti, mente, suhog i kuhanog voća... svilenkastog 'mouthfeela' i punog tijela, ugodnih kiselina i zrelih tanina... 🧡

Točno prije godinu dana timu Nesputanih vina pridružila se jedna smišna mala od 1.92m 😆, a sve ostalo je povijest! 💫 Bilo je užitak gledati kako se razvija i raste zajedno s našim mladim brendom i kako postaje njegov esencijalan i integralan dio, baš onako kako se otisak prsta isprepliće s listom vinove loze u našem logu. Nina se naprosto stopila s brendom, stilom, idejama i vrijednostima koje promoviramo, a osim talenta i znanja sa sobom je donijela i jednu rijetko viđenu radost i energiju! 🌝
Jako smo sretni što je s nama! 💚
